Brad Rees

Managing Director and Mediacells founder

Mediacells founding director Brad Rees brings a blend of media and telecoms experience.

Brad began his career as an internet journalist for electronic publications on the Reuters network in 1995.

From there he moved into mainstream national newspaper journalism in 1997 and migrated popular Fleet Street brands for United News and Media onto the internet with successful and sometimes hilarious consequences.

In 1999 the dotcom bug bit him hard and he left the newspaper world to become Senior Producer of CBS Sportsline's European multi-channel sports website sports.com.

Prior to Brad founding Mediacells in 2004, he spent four years at T-Mobile head office, developing the company's multimedia propositions at regional level in June 2002 before becoming a senior media propositions manager at T-Mobile International and running the Euro 2004 live scores propostion across seven countries.

He lives in London and is a regular contributor to the Guardian newspaper and What Mobile magazine.
